Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at The Modern Supply. We take pride in providing you with the highest quality products and excellent customer service. However, we understand that there may be instances where you need to return or exchange a product. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may do so. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping fee:

Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning a product for a change of mind or exchange.

However, the company will be responsible for shipping costs for damaged or defective items.

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage or any issues, you should contact us. If your item(s) do arrive damaged or with any issues please send photos of the damage, and issues along with a brief description of the damage to info@themodernsupply.com. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. 

Order Cancellations:

As long as the order has not been sent for picking and packing in our warehouse you can cancel your order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. If the item has left our warehouse please wait for the item to arrive before organizing a return. Do note that once the order has left our warehouse, postage back to us will not be covered. You’ll have to pay return shipping and there is no restocking fee.

Exchange:
Within the 3 days after your order, you can request a replacement or exchange. To arrange an exchange, contact us at info@themodernsupply.com. After shipment or transit, if you want to exchange the product, you’ll have to pay for return shipping and there is no restocking fee. If you want to exchange something after you’ve received it, you must keep all of the items and their packaging until your exchange request is approved. If your replacement product is temporarily out of stock, we will let you know as soon as it arrives, or we may suggest an alternative.

Received the Wrong Product:

We follow careful order-picking procedures to ensure every product in your order is correct, but occasionally we do make mistakes. You can choose to keep the wrong item with a partial refund or request the correct item. To request the correct item, we may offer you a free-of-charge return shipping label. After receiving your returned item, please send us an email to info@themodernsupply.com indicating your order details. We will, upon request, send you the correct item or issue a full refund.

Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 to 8 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
